While summer may be heating up, the excitement for Zenless Zone Zero fans is about to reach a whole new level. Alongside celebrating the game’s first anniversary and its upcoming Xbox release, players can look forward to Version 2.0—Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn—launching on June 6th.
This major update ushers you into the Waifei Peninsula, a brand-new district within New Eridu that stands apart from the bustling streets of the main city. As your Proxy, you’ll journey from Failume Heights into the mysterious Lemnian Hollow, uncovering hidden secrets and meeting a host of new characters along the way.
True to its unique atmosphere, the Waifei Peninsula introduces a fresh gameplay layer: managing your very own Suibian Temple. This new minigame lets you upgrade temple facilities, defeat pesky Bangboos, complete commissions, gather resources from the Hollows, and earn valuable in-game rewards—all while deepening your connection to the region.
Beyond the district
To help you tackle the challenges of this new environment, Version 2.0 brings powerful allies to your roster. Meet Yixuan, the S-rank agent known as the Grandmaster, who wields a unique Adrenaline mechanic capable of bypassing enemy defenses. She’s joined by five other new agents, including the towering panda-inspired Pan Yinhu, ready to bring their distinct abilities to your team.
On top of new content, the update delivers meaningful quality-of-life enhancements. A fully interactive 3D map makes navigating New Eridu smoother than ever, while newly placed Fissure Beacons allow you to restore HP, revive downed agents, and jump back into combat with minimal downtime.
