HoYoverse has unveiled the details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, titled 'Among the Forgotten Ruins,' set to launch on March 12th. This update promises to deepen the storyline and introduce new characters, making things quite intense in New Eridu.
What’s Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?
In this update, Proxies find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, tasked with securing a mysterious artefact linked to the Sacrifice. However, the phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, is determined to thwart the Mayor's plans. Other factions are also in the mix, complicating the Proxies' mission. Adding to the intrigue, characters Hugo and Vivian exhibit suspicious behavior, leaving players to wonder about their true allegiances. Dive into the excitement by watching the trailer below.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 also introduces Anby Demara, previously known as Soldier 0 and leader of Silver Squad. She now joins the game as an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent, wielding dual swords to deal Electric damage. Another new addition, Trigger, an ace sniper from Obol Squad, enters the fray as an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent. Trigger's ability to enter Sniper Mode allows her to dodge attacks and deliver precise shots, enhancing her team's Quick Assists.
Some Are Making a Comeback
Returning characters include Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent from the Sons of Calydon. S-Rank agents Burnice, a Fire Anomaly Agent, and Zhuyuan, an Ether Attack Agent, will also see their banners rerun. The new boss, Geppetto, is set to challenge players in Hollow Zero.
The update introduces Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, pushing players to test their limits. The new Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, adds dynamic effects to each battle stage, such as boosting damage based on accumulated coins. Additionally, Trigger's TV Schedule brings third-person sniper gameplay, allowing players to engage in sniper missions. March On, Tiny Titan! and Little Knight's Big Charge offer unique challenges with Bangboo drones, with the latter providing rewards like Pulchra as a playable agent.
