The smart application, "Where Is My Bus?", designed to enhance your public transportation experience in Istanbul, is now better than ever with its updated user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure!
"Where Is My Bus?" is the official app of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality General Directorate of IETT Operations. This app allows you to easily access information about bus routes in Istanbul, their schedules, and which lines service specific stops.

Plan your trip with "Where Is My Bus?"
Navigate Istanbul's public transportation system with ease. To explore different route options, simply enter your starting point and destination in the "How To Go" menu, along with your preferred travel date and time. You can plan your journey based on your departure or arrival time. "Where Is My Bus?" offers various route alternatives, allowing you to choose the quickest option or the one with the least amount of walking. Select your preferred route and review its details, or follow it on the map.
Discover your nearest stop
Use the "Stops Near Me" feature to list stops closest to your current location, sorted by distance. Tap on a stop to view its details, including which lines service it and the estimated arrival time of the next bus. You can also switch to map view to see the stop's location and get directions.
Find other useful transport points near you
Locate the nearest Istanbulkart refill points or İspark parking spots. "Where Is My Bus?" makes it easy to find these locations. From the side menu, you can view the distances to these points, check parking capacities, and see the types of parking available (e.g., open lots, multi-story garages). You can also view these locations on a map and get directions from your current position.
Get Line and Route information
Search for bus lines by name to view their main and express routes. From the line's detail page, select a route to see its stops. Track the real-time location of buses, with special coloring to distinguish express routes. You can also view all routes on a map by toggling to map view and using the filter icon in the top left corner to select the routes you want to see.
Plan your journey by reviewing the departure times
Access the "Timetables" page either from the homepage or the line's detail page. The timetable shows departure times for the main route, with express routes highlighted in different colors. To understand which color corresponds to which express route, check the "Route Information" section.
Stay informed with announcements
When viewing details of any line or stop, click the "Announcements" icon for real-time updates. You can also review past announcements about all lines, stops, departure times, and route changes from the "Announcements" page in the side menu.
