- Oni Press has announced the launch of a new original comic series inspired by the visionary work of Philip K. Dick. Titled Echoes of Tomorrow, the series blends dystopian sci-fi, existential mystery, and noir aesthetics to explore themes of identity, reality, and the blurred line between perception and truth—hallmarks of Dick’s legendary storytelling. Set in a fractured near-future where memories can be implanted, altered, or erased, Echoes of Tomorrow follows Kael Voss, a freelance "Memory Broker" who traffics in stolen or forged recollections for wealthy clients seeking to rewrite their pasts. When Kael uncovers a hidden pattern in a client’s fragmented memories—one that suggests a massive conspiracy to manipulate global consciousness—he finds himself hunted by shadowy corporations and rogue AI enforcers. The series is written by acclaimed author and screenwriter Zara Moss (known for The Silent Archive and Neon Fractures), with art by Darius Moon, whose gritty, hyper-detailed visuals evoke both the haunting realism of Dick’s worlds and the dreamlike surrealism of his narratives. The first issue drops in October 2024, with a limited 12-issue arc planned. Oni Press President Megan Wiggins stated: “Philip K. Dick’s legacy isn’t just in his stories—it’s in the way he made us question what’s real.
