PHASE 10 RULES:

A phase consists of specific card combinations, such as sets (cards of the same value), runs (consecutive cards in ascending order), cards of the same color, or a mix of these. The game includes ten phases to complete.

The dealer shuffles the deck and deals 10 cards face down, one at a time, to each player. Players keep their cards hidden from others.

Completing phases

▪️ Complete phases in order, starting from Phase 1 to 10.

▪️ You must have the entire Phase in your hand before laying it down.

▪️ You may lay down extra cards if they fit directly into the Phase.

▪️ Only one Phase can be completed per hand.

▪️ Successfully completing a Phase lets you advance to the next one in the following hand. If you fail, you must attempt the same Phase again.

▪️ Players receive credit for completing a Phase as soon as it's laid down, regardless of winning the hand. Multiple players can complete their Phase in the same hand.

Note: Players are not required to lay down their Phase immediately, even if they have the required cards. However, they must still discard a card at the end of their turn.

Going out and Ending the Round:

After laying down your Phase, aim to play all remaining cards in your hand.

Important: Always draw one card at the start of your turn and discard one card at the end.

Scoring a Round:

When a player lays down their Phase and discards their last card, the round ends.

Players tally the total points of the cards left in their hands—fewer cards mean a better score:

▪️ Five points (5) for cards valued 1-9

▪️ Ten points (10) for cards valued 10-12

▪️ Fifteen points (15) for a Skip card

▪️ Twenty-five points (25) for a Wild card

Keep in mind: the goal is to finish with the LOWEST score.

Finishing the game:

If only one player completes Phase 10, they win immediately. If multiple players complete it in the same hand, the one with the lowest total points wins. In a tie, tied players replay Phase 10—the first to complete it and discard all cards wins.
