Story
Rintarou Okabe, known as "Okarin," is a university student afflicted with second-grade syndrome. A self-proclaimed mad scientist under the alias "Kyoma Hououin," he founded the "Future Gadget Laboratory," where he spends his days crafting peculiar inventions alongside two companions. Their accidental invention of a "time machine" capable of sending text messages to the past sets off a chain of events involving SERN, John Titor, the "IBN5100" computer, and the butterfly effect, among other time travel theories.
