The game features multiple levels, which you progress through by taking down boars that appear on the screen.
Your score increases as you successfully hunt wild boars. The first boar awards one point, the second two points, and the third three points. If you manage to eliminate five in a row, you'll earn 15 points. After clearing the screen, the count resets.
You begin each level with a bolt-action rifle. Bullets are automatically reloaded, but you must wait for the bolt-action animation to complete before taking another shot. To load more bullets into the magazine, click the flashing on-screen indicator.
By scoring at least 40 points, you can finish the level using an automatic rifle—simply click the flashing icon that appears. This action will cost five points.
The maximum number of allowed failures starts at 7 in Level 1 and decreases to 4 by Level 6. You can also earn extra failures.
Starting at Level 6, if you take down five boars in a row without missing (earning 15 points), you'll deduct one failure. Note that boars not eliminated with the first shot count as two attempts but only award points for one.
At Level 7, if you reach 100 points, you can use an extra six-bullet magazine at the cost of five points. Successfully taking down the next six boars on screen earns 22 points and deducts one failure.
In subsequent levels, to maximize your score and earn extra failures, you'll need to complete increasingly longer boar hunting streaks. Each streak begins anew once the screen is cleared of downed boars.
Keep in mind that every boar on screen can be eliminated—even with the bolt-action rifle. You simply need to strategize your shooting order.
