The game uses a special 24-card deck for intense 2v2 team matches.

During trump selection (ordering up), players commit their team to winning most tricks. Score 1 point for 3-4 tricks or 2 points for sweeping all 5 tricks. Failing to secure three tricks ("getting euchred") awards opponents 2 points.

Skilled players may "go alone," attempting all tricks solo while their partner sits out. Successful loners earn 4 points (all tricks) or 1 point (3-4 tricks), while failure still grants opponents 2 points.

Remember: While you must follow suit when possible, playing trump cards is optional unless trump is led.
