Learn to read Spanish with phonics is a comprehensive and engaging educational tool designed for children aged 3 to 7 years old, as well as adults who wish to improve their Spanish pronunciation. Built around the foundational principles of phonics, this method ensures that young learners develop essential literacy skills in a fun and interactive way.
READING: THE FOUNDATION OF LEARNING
Reading is one of the most critical skills introduced during preschool and the early years of elementary education. It serves as the cornerstone for academic success and future communication abilities. Since children today grow up surrounded by technology, they naturally gravitate toward computers and tablets. This digital familiarity presents a unique opportunity to reinforce and enhance what they are learning in school.
METHOD OVERVIEW
This program is structured into two main components: letter tracing and 30 progressive lessons. The lesson plan begins with vowels and gradually introduces consonants and complex sounds such as L, M, S, T, P, N, D, F, H, C, Q, CH, G, GUE, R, -rr-, R, B, V, G, J, GE, GUE, Y, Z, CE, LL, X, K.
Each lesson includes 11 interactive games available in two difficulty levels. This structure makes it ideal for parents and educators seeking effective tools to teach early syllables and words in Spanish. Encourage your child to listen carefully and try to complete the exercises independently—it’s not necessary for them to understand everything right away.
Remember, learning to read is a gradual process that may take more than a year. We recommend practicing daily in short sessions, revisiting previously learned material, and always adjusting the difficulty level to suit the child's progress. Most importantly, ensure the experience feels like play rather than work.
LEVELS AND PROGRESSION
All games feature two adjustable difficulty levels, allowing children to learn at their own pace. They can pause and resume anytime. As they complete activities successfully, they collect fruits as virtual rewards.
Level 1 is suitable for children as young as three years old and can be enjoyed with parental or teacher guidance. At this stage, kids can rely on audio cues and visual support to complete tasks.
Level 2 offers increased complexity and encourages independent thinking. Children should attempt these challenges when ready, always within a joyful and supportive environment.
Parents and guardians should ensure the selected difficulty aligns with the child’s current skill level. Avoid pressuring them to finish quickly or move ahead too fast—learning should always feel enjoyable.
