Brave Frontier Versus Digital Card Game Launches Worldwide

Brave Frontier fans finally have a new battleground to master. Brave Frontier Versus is now officially available worldwide on Android. Unlike the classic turn-based RPG format, this version is faster-paced and more tactical.

Brave Frontier began as a mobile RPG, first launching in Japan in 2013. Developed and published by A-Lim, it later saw a global release through Gumi before closing in 2022. A worldwide-exclusive sequel, Brave Frontier: The Last Summoner, debuted in 2018.

What’s the gameplay like in Brave Frontier Versus?

You assemble decks using familiar heroes from the original Brave Frontier world. Then, you face opponents on a strategic map where every action matters. The gameplay now resembles a digital card battler, featuring layered decision-making and strategic risks.

Battles are limited to just five rounds, and you won’t be stuck waiting on your opponent’s move. On your first turn, you can deploy several units at once. You can have up to six active units simultaneously, with cards that revive each round.

Deck-building has been streamlined. All you need are character cards to form your team. This makes it especially accessible for newcomers. Alternatively, you can optimize your deck to create powerful synergies for each match.

Naturally, no Brave Frontier game would feel complete without its iconic Brave Bursts. These spectacular, game-altering special attacks can instantly turn the tide of battle. They make a comeback here as part of the new Manifestation Card system. Drawn on the third and fifth turns, these cards provide enhanced stats and devastating abilities.

To celebrate the global launch, the game is hosting a Warm Welcome event. Log in now to receive a bonus of 2,000 gems immediately. You’ll also find special missions that offer additional rewards, plus a limited-time shop with early deals. Download the game now from the Google Play Store.
