GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM’s Gacha System: A Comprehensive Guide
GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM, the highly anticipated sequel, introduces a revamped Gacha system crucial for squad progression. This guide details the mechanics and banner types.
Understanding the Gacha Mechanics
The Gacha system uses a randomized loot box mechanic, offering characters (T-dolls) and weapons. Summons require in-game currency, typically categorized as:
- Standard Currency
- Special Access Permissions
- Event-Specific Currency (obtained via events)
Summoning probabilities for T-dolls and weapons are:
- SSR T-dolls/Weapons: 0.3%
- SR T-dolls/Weapons: 3%
All banners offer a mix of T-dolls and weapons. Let's explore the banner types:
Beginner Procurement Banner
Designed for new players, this banner offers a significant advantage. You're limited to 50 pulls, but a guaranteed SSR character is included within those 50 pulls via a pity system activating within the final ten pulls if an SSR hasn't been obtained.
Detailed Drop Rates and Pity System:
- SSR characters: 0.6%
- SR characters/weapons: 6%
- Pity: Guaranteed SR every 10 pulls, guaranteed SSR every 80 pulls. The second SSR obtained (hard pity at 160 pulls) is always the featured character if the first SSR wasn't the featured unit. Soft pity starts at the 58th pull. Pity does not carry over to other banners.
