Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower

LEGO's ambitious two-year project to recreate Hogwarts Castle in minifigure scale continues with The Main Tower, the second major set in this modular system following 2024's Great Hall release. The collection also includes standalone classroom and building sets like the Potions Class (#76431), Owlery (#76430), Flying Lessons (#76447), and Boathouse (#76426) that combine to form the complete castle.
Designed to function both independently and as part of the larger display, The Main Tower particularly captures moments from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone with remarkable detail.
Exploring LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle - The Main Tower

The rear-opening design reveals multiple movie-accurate dioramas. The underground chambers first built include three iconic rooms from the Sorcerer's Stone sequence: the Devil's Snare chamber with ceiling-mounted interactive vines, the Flying Keys room with rotating pedestal mechanism, and the life-sized Wizard's Chess set with movable pieces.
Included minifigures allow fans to recreate key scenes with Harry, Hermione, and Ron interacting with these environments. The set contains twelve total minifigures including supporting characters like Neville Longbottom, Professor Dumbledore, and Nearly Headless Nick.

The architectural design progresses logically upward - Fluffy guards the trapdoor above the chambers, complete with a cleverly constructed harp that lulls the three-headed dog to sleep. The Gryffindor Common Room features the signature color scheme with cozy, sunken living area and separate dormitory space.
Modular construction allows multiple builders to work simultaneously, with separate instruction booklets for each section. The 10+ age rating makes this detailed set accessible for both play and display purposes.

The soaring main tower comprises five stacked levels containing Hogwarts' moving staircases on rotating platforms, guarded by a talking Gargoyle. Dumbledore's Office steals the show with its intricate details - from the Sword of Gryffindor to the animated Sorting Hat and Pensieve.
The crowning spire houses the Mirror of Erised with dual-sided printing (showing both Harry's parents and him holding the Sorcerer's Stone) on a rotating mechanism.

Standing over two feet tall, the tower makes an impressive display alone or combined with the Great Hall set. The seamless exterior integration and densely packed interior scenes create a remarkable miniature version of Hogwarts.
This well-planned modular system shows LEGO's commitment to eventually delivering a complete Hogwarts experience. With continued attention to detail, this could become their most impressive Harry Potter achievement yet.
