Inspired by the renowned Spelling Bee from the New York Times, Palabrísimo brings new features to the table, all in Spanish. Each day brings fresh letters and a new set of words for you to explore.
Our team has meticulously crafted a daily database of Spanish words, ensuring you have endless fun while expanding your vocabulary.
One of the game's highlights is the 'Word of the day', a special hidden word that earns you extra points. This word is linked to a daily clue provided at the start of the game, offering insights into historical, curious, or special facts relevant to the day you're playing. This feature not only adds an element of challenge but also enriches your knowledge of significant events.
How to play?
Your task is to find as many words as possible using the 7 letters provided. New letters and words await you each day.
Rules for forming words:
- Words must be at least 3 letters long.
- The CENTRAL letter must be used in every word.
- Letters can be repeated within a word.
- Words must be recognized by the Dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE).
Scoring:
- Each LETTER in a word earns you +1 point.
- SUPER WORDS add a +20 bonus to your score.
- The WORD OF THE DAY grants +40 extra points.
What is a SUPER WORD?
A SUPER WORD is formed when all 7 letters are used to create a single word.
What is the WORD OF THE DAY?
Each day, a special word is hidden among the letters provided. A clue on the Home screen, related to a historical, curious, or special fact, will help you uncover this word.
Levels:
To track your progress, the game features a level bar with 10 stages. As you discover words, your level rises, giving you a clear view of your achievements.
Starting at the "Novice" level each day, you'll progress through:
- Beginner: You're starting to get the hang of it.
- Apprentice: You're quick and eager to learn.
- Average: You're doing well; most players reach this point.
- Good: You're above average.
- Solid: Your Spanish vocabulary is strong.
- Expert: You know more words than most.
- Fantastic: Your language skills are impressive.
- Incredible: Your word knowledge is astounding.
- Epic: Your performance is top-notch.
