The Magong App, the official app for Magic Thousand Characters, enhances your experience with the Magic Thousand Character Comics, making them more engaging and vivid.
With the AR (Augmented Reality) feature, you can experience 3D Chinese character magic simply by shining your device on the book and cards. Starting from Volume 54, you can also acquire cards and elevate your leader level through the promotion training feature when you illuminate the book!
(For volumes up to 53, only the 3D Chinese character magic is available.)

- Leader Rating System: You're now a full-fledged leader. Enhance your abilities through promotion training and showcase your skills in battles.
- Promotion Training Content: Acquire cards and boost your leader level through advanced training based on the vocabulary from the Magic Thousand Character Book.
- Card Collection Content: Each book offers 3 types of character cards and 20 types of vocabulary cards for promotion training. View your collected cards on the Encyclopedia page, and touch a card to see the corresponding animation.
- Reinforcement System: Upgrade your acquired character cards into stronger characters using magic stones.
- Boss Battle Content: Team up with your acquired characters to defeat bosses from the Magic Thousand Characters and earn rewards based on your contribution.

- Avoid places with significant light reflection, as it may hinder recognition.
- Not all pages are recognized; check the pages where Chinese character magic appears.
If images aren't recognized or the app stops:
- If the image isn't recognized, touch the yellow [+] in the middle to search again.
- Intensive long-term use of the AR function may cause overheating and app overload. Try closing and reopening the app.
If the app takes a long time to start:
- The app needs time to prepare for recognizing the Magic Thousand Character Book's images.
- Older smartphones may experience slower app performance.
If writing Chinese characters each time is cumbersome:
- Enable 'Skip from the second Chinese character writing' in the settings to skip it after the first time.
- Note: This feature doesn't apply if a page contains more than one Chinese character.
If an animation video plays but stops:
- Animation videos require an internet connection; slow speeds may cause interruptions.
- Use a stable Wi-Fi environment for the best experience.
If the video recording file's sound is too low:
- Record the sound from the smartphone's speaker and increase the speaker volume.
If video recording stops automatically:
- Video recording is limited to 30 seconds and completes automatically.
- The front camera records for each AR model, and recording stops when the model changes due to reflection elsewhere.
If photos/videos don't appear in the smartphone gallery:
- Some smartphone models may delay media scanning, requiring a restart to view the files.
If permission is needed during app installation:
- The app requires access to the camera, microphone, and storage to function correctly.
- Denying permission will impair app functionality.
If you can't comment on Plus Friends:
- Commenting on Plus Friends is a feature available within KakaoTalk.
- Use the 'Open with App' button or touch the post's image to open an external browser and run KakaoTalk for commenting.
- The 'Open KakaoTalk App' button may not work due to security restrictions.
