Apple TV+'s critically acclaimed Severance dominates the field with an impressive 27 nominations, making it the most recognized show of the season.
The drama categories promise fierce competition, with HBO's The White Lotus (23 nominations), The Last of Us (16), Disney+'s Andor (14), and HBO's The Pitt (13) all vying for top honors. The comedy races appear equally intense, featuring Apple's satirical hit The Studio (23 nominations) battling FX's The Bear (13) and HBO's Hacks (14).
Historic Moments and Notable Snubs
The nominations brought several historic moments, including Harrison Ford's first-ever Emmy nomination at age 83 for his supporting role in Shrinking. However, the announcement wasn't without its surprises - Marvel's Agatha All Along and Netflix's Squid Game were notably absent from major categories.
