BASE is an innovative app designed to enhance learning in schools by integrating the excitement of football into the educational process. This tool is specifically tailored for teachers, aiming to transform the daily classroom experience by engaging students in a playful learning environment. The core idea behind BASE is to enable children to absorb the same educational content through interactive gameplay, making learning both fun and effective.
In its initial phase, the app structures its educational content into three distinct seasons, mimicking the format of sports tournaments. Each season comprises four competitive levels: Regional, National, Continental, and World, along with a Pre-Season. These tournaments are composed of various matches, which are essentially sets of questions at different difficulty levels. This gamified approach not only makes learning enjoyable but also motivates students through rewards such as coins, points, and trophies, thereby sustaining their interest and encouraging continuous engagement.
The educational content within BASE has been meticulously developed by the team at the Vini.Jr Institute, in collaboration with educators from the Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School. The focus of this educational technology is on the early years of Elementary School, specifically targeting students from 1st to 5th grade, aged 6 to 10. By leveraging the universal appeal of sports, particularly football, and combining it with cutting-edge technology, BASE aims to captivate young learners and facilitate their educational journey.
Importantly, all questions and content within the BASE app adhere strictly to the guidelines set forth by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), ensuring that the educational material is both relevant and aligned with national standards. This commitment to quality and alignment with educational benchmarks makes BASE a valuable resource for educators seeking to enrich their teaching methods and enhance student learning outcomes.
