Schedule I developer Tyler has unveiled the much-anticipated 0.3.4 update for all players following a brief testing phase, detailing the changes through Steam patch notes. This update marks the first significant content expansion for Schedule I, a game that soared to the top of Steam's charts upon its early access release on March 24. The new version introduces a functional pawn shop, boutique store, various wall decorations, and more, as detailed below.

In a heartfelt post on Steam, Tyler expressed regret for the delay in the update's release, explaining, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He reassured the community that future updates would be smoother and more timely, stating, "Things will be running a lot smoother (and on time) when I do larger monthly updates (starting next month)."

Looking ahead, Tyler outlined his priorities, which include resolving remaining bugs such as ensuring consistent employee performance, preventing save game corruption, and minimizing multiplayer disconnections and loading issues. He's also committed to enhancing the game's optimization and is working towards getting Schedule I verified for Steam Deck, which will serve as a benchmark for performance.

Upon its launch, Schedule I quickly became the top-selling game on Steam, outpacing giants like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals, thanks to its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players start as small-time drug dealers in the gritty city of Hyland Point, with the goal of rising to become a kingpin by manufacturing and distributing various drugs. Players can expand their empire by acquiring properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Developed and published by TVGS, an indie studio led by Australian developer Tyler, the game's explosive launch has been described as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." Tyler shared his astonishment and gratitude on Reddit, saying, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched.”
