The Tawakkalna Emergency app is the official application in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia designed to manage emergency situations and enhance community protection. Developed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), it has been instrumental in curbing the spread of COVID-19.
Initially, Tawakkalna was launched to facilitate relief efforts by electronically issuing permits during the "Curfew Period" for both government and private sector employees, as well as individuals. This initiative significantly contributed to controlling the spread of the COVID-19 virus within the Kingdom.
During the "Return with Caution" phase, the app introduced several crucial new services aimed at ensuring a safe return to normalcy. One of the most notable features is the provision of health status indicators through color-coded systems, which maintain the highest standards of security and privacy for its users.
